SPEED INDICATOR DEVICE (SID)
We have arranged for a SID to be located outside the school during the month of December. The SID is a device which flashes the speed vehicles are doing as they pass the school. The SID will face each direction on a weekly rotation. Our hope is to raise awareness among road users of their speed as they pass a Primary School within a 30mph zone. Thank you to the PSNI for facilitating the use of the device.

This means half of the P.5 class (Group 1) will go one week to swimming and the next week the other half (Group 2). The P.5 children will be told in the new year which group they are in. Similar to previous years we have booked the hall to play Netball, Soccer, Hurling, Camogie before the swim. The cost per pupil is £4 each Tuesday. Pupils wear uniform into school and bring PE gear and swimming gear to change into. P.5-P7 will have their lunch/dinner earlier on these days as we will be leaving school at 12.30pm. Pupils are asked not to bring any money as they will not be permitted to use the vending machines.
