P1 Florence Court Shared Education trip

P1 had a fun filled day when they went to Florence Court Estate to find out all about the Harvest festival long ago. They learned how they used to harvest the wheat and hay and looked at the different vegetables that they grew. They enjoyed an Autumn scavenger hunt following all the clues to find the Autumn things. They made firework rockets. At the end P1 celebrated the harvest by having a barn dance!

All the children had so much fun with their friends from Maguiresbridge PS.
