The P.7 children continued with their Confirmation Preparation by attending the Chrism Mass in St. Macartan's Cathedral in Monaghan on Holy Thursday. The Chrism Mass is a very special mass attended by the priests of the diocese where they renew their Holy Order Vows. Another important part of the Chrism Mass is that the Oil of Chrism used in the Confirmation Ceremonies in the diocese is blessed.
The children rounded their day off with a tour of the Cathedral, a visit to Mc Donalds/Subway and shopping in Monaghan Shopping Centre. A great day was had by all.
