We are delighted to announce we have enrolled our school in Scoil Spreagtha an accredited scheme which aims to promote the use of Irish language in our school and in our community, based on three simple pillars:

- Hearing Irish,

Using Irish
The children will be encouraged to use/speak Irish Language every day in school and they will see it on doors, noticeboards etc in school as well as hear it in their classrooms and in assemblies.
"Small actions taken regularly are often more effective than large actions taken occasionally".
Any efforts by the children and adults in school speaking Irish will be encouraged and commended. The beginning of a what's hoped to be a regular feature in the life of St. Mary's P.S Maguiresbridge. Go raibh maith agaibh.
