The school will close on Friday December 21st December at 12:00pm for the Christmas Holidays. There will be no dinner on this last day of term. School will re-open on Monday January 7th 2019.

Our school Christmas Nativity will take place on Thursday 13th December at 7.30pm in St. Mary’s Parish Hall. Tickets are £10 per family and £5 each for extended family e.g. Uncles/Aunts/Grandparents. Tickets are on sale from the school office and not on the night.

We thank you in advance for your support and look forward to a very enjoyable evening together.

There will be an official recording of the performance on the night which will be available from the school office on the Monday after the performance. We would ask all members of the audience not to take any digital footage of the performance. You will be able to take pics of your own children in costume at the end.

The children will be walking over to the hall most days up to the 13th of December, it is very important that children have a coat with them to school. The Reception, P.1 & 2’s will be starting their practices in the hall from Wednesday the 5th of December.

We have arranged for a SID to be located outside the school during the month of December. The SID is a device which flashes the speed vehicles are doing as they pass the school. The SID will face each direction on a weekly rotation. Our hope is to raise awareness among road users of their speed as they pass a Primary School within a 30mph zone. Thank you to the PSNI for facilitating the use of the device.

Similar to previous years we have booked the hall to play Netball, Soccer, Hurling, Camogie before the swim. The cost per pupil is £4 each Tuesday. Pupils wear uniform into school and bring PE gear and swimming gear to change into. P.5-P7 will have their lunch/dinner earlier on these days as we will be leaving school at 12.30pm. Pupils are asked not to bring any money as they will not be permitted to use the vending machines.
