We expect this to be a fun day for all, using clothes they have at home. Teachers will provide the children with ideas in class. Prizes (book vouchers) will be given for the best dressed in each class. Children will also be taking part in lots of fun reading challenges to mark the day. Ch’n who prefer not to dress up, come in uniform as normal.

As part of the celebrations for World Book Day we are having a sponsored read for the children, from Friday 1st of March to Friday 8th of March. The aim of the sponsored read is to encourage the children to read and help raise funds for the school which will allow us to buy more reading books.

Cumann na mBunscol:

Boys & Girls Indoor Hurling & Camogie Blitz Congratulations to both our Boys’ and Girls’ Teams who did brilliantly in the recent Hurling and Camogie Blitz.
